We’re looking for a Graduate Web Developer

Coleraine / Belfast

Atto Partners is deliberately small. We’ve been working hard to stay small, interesting, and focused since the very start. So when we hire a new team member, we’re looking for someone special.

Tell me you’re that somebody.

If it’s you we’re looking for, you’ll be based in our Coleraine office or our Belfast office. You’ll be responsible for Web Development & Testing, but mostly testing to begin with. You already know the basics inside out — you probably have a Computer Science degree or similar. You know your Mergesorts from your Quicksorts (or — let’s be honest — you know how to look them up on Stack Overflow). You’ll be happy — nay, delighted — to contribute to all sorts of great apps, websites and online systems.

You already have a solid grip on one or two programming languages, but it doesn’t really matter which ones. Over time, we’ll train you in anything you don’t know yet — Ruby on Rails, Javascript, HTML (and HAML), CSS (and Sass), and some DevOps — anything else you’ll need to be great at your job. If you know some of this already, even better.

We care deeply about UX. We always have — for years before it was called that. The successful candidate will care about the quality and user experience of the work we make. They’ll care enough to give opinions, but hold them lightly enough to be part of a friendly team. Oh, and they’ll be great to work with. The role would suit a front end developer who wants to get into full stack dev, or a back end developer who wants to learn everything they can, slowly and methodically.

Like all of our team, your role might take other paths over time, and you’d be expected to muck in, doing whatever’s needed to help make Atto Partners even better at what we do, and to help our clients win.

You’ll be working from 9–5, Monday – Friday. Or 9:30–5:30. Or thereabouts. We’re not really into working evenings and weekends — we work really hard during the week instead. We don’t do Beer Fridays or fussball. We enjoy making great work during the day, then going home at night.

We’ll pay you a competitive salary, sign you up for private healthcare, and treat you as an important part of the team, because you’ll be an important part of the team. We’ll start with a 12 month contract, but hope to keep you for many more years.

No recruitment agencies please — only real people.
We’re an equal opportunities employer, natch.
